Dear all,

 

It is less than 3 months away from the 5^th World Congress of IAOO and preparations are in full speed.

Luiz Kowalski, our Congress Chairman, along with his Local Organizing and Scientific Committees have prepared an outstanding scientific program which covers all topics in the multidisciplinary management of oral and head and neck cancer.

I am glad to tell you that apart from the final scientific program which can be found in the website at http://www.iaoo2015.com/en/programm.php?MG=3&Mid=46&sub1=1  the oral abstract sessions have also been formulated and contain 240 very interesting oral presentations divided in 24 sessions.  The program is complimented by a high number of e-posters.

 

The 23^rd Brazilian Congress of Stomatology and Oral Pathology will also take place in parallel with the 5^th IAOO Congress. Registered participants will be able to follow both scientific events with the same registration fee.

 

On Saturday 11 July the 3^rd Latin-American Symposium in Head and Neck Cancer Treatment, organized by AC CAmargo Hospital, will also take place in the same Congress Venue. Again registered participants will have the opportunity to follow this very interesting scientific event at no additional cost.

 

Registrations are coming at a high pace with already more than 650 registered participants.

A variety of hotels covering all budgets have been booked from our Congress Organizers, so if you still have not decided your participation to the Congress it is the last chance to do it right know.

I am also glad to report to you that the IAOO new leadership has been proposed by the Nominating Committee, under the Chairmanship of Ashok Shaha, and the Council has endorsed the following colleagues for elections for Officers 2015-2017. The elections will take place during the IAOO General Assembly in Sao Paulo.
