Dear Dental Professionals
While the dental research community has made great strides in preventive dentistry over the past 60 years, dental erosion has arisen as a major new challenge for clinicians. Many studies have confirmed the growing incidence of dental erosion in children, adolescents and adults. This is especially of concern since enamel loss due to this multifactorial condition is irreversible.
Fortunately, we've recently learned a great deal about dental erosion, its progression, and strategies to prevent it. If you are planning to attend the AADR/CADR meeting next week, I would like to invite you to attend a scientific symposium that Procter & Gamble Professional Oral Health will sponsor. The program, titled Managing Dental Erosion: Current Understandings and Future Directions, will be held on March 17, 2016 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in Room 408A at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
A distinguished panel of researchers will provide an overview on the current state of diagnosing and managing dental erosion, research methodology, as well as laboratory and clinical results to help clinicians manage the condition. The program presenters and their respective topics are shown below.
We hope to see you there.
